Fares

Individual Tickets, booklets and monthly passes can be purchased at the KATS office located at 900 East Main Street.

Regular KATS fares are $1 for the general public ages 18 to 64.
Reduced fares are $.50 for those 65 and older, disabled passengers, and military veterans*.
Unlimited Weekly Pass $5.
Unlimited Monthly Pass $20.

Children under the age of 18 ride KATS at no charge
Children under the age of 12 must be
accompanied by an adult at all times.

ADA Dial-A-Ride Van Services are $2 each way.
You must live within Kingsport city limits and be certified as eligible to use KATS Dial-A-Ride Service.
Schedule a trip by calling 423.224.2613 between 8 a.m and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Please note that while we do offer same day service on a space available basis, it is always in your best interest to schedule all of your trips at least one day in advance to ensure your trip and time requests.
Trips can be scheduled up to 30 days in
advance.

Fares for Dial-A-Ride 65+ are $3 each trip and provides shared-ride public transportation to seniors that are age
65 or older within Kingsport’s boundaries.
You must live within Kingsport city limits and be certified as eligible to use KATS Dial-A-Ride Service.
Dial-A-Ride compliments the existing transit system by providing curb-to-curb, next day transportation service
